Leland
Stopping a robbery was only the beginning—to fun, action-filled mayhem. Jackson’s afraid that I’m running headfirst into trouble (again), but I’m not… I’m running gun-first into it. When one of the robbers who’s really just a kid comes begging for my help, I definitely have no choice but to help him.
The kid is convinced his brother has been wrongly accused, and while Jackson My Love might be over there going, “You were hired to look into it, not to go undercover, sink a boat, and hunt down a gang,” I feel like he’s simply confused… because I’m gonna hunt down TWO gangs (and is that a car chase I see?).

A simple “Whodunnit” turns into us being targeted by multiple bad guys as we run after them instead of away from them, dragging Cassel and Henry—and some others—along for the ride. I really can’t be the only one who sees the issue here, but… as I watch them race into danger, I’m starting to think I am.
Loving Leland comes easy, but keeping him safe doesn’t because there’s someone trailing Leland who might want to hurt him. The problem is that as Lucas strings us along and tales begin to become tangled, it’s hard to tell who is right and who is wrong.
Contains: Lifejackets used to protect all the wrong things (Leland: all the RIGHT things), the greatest tragedy of ALL TIME (involving The Fence) (even if Jackson doesn’t think so), and the kind of friends that make you realize you don’t need enemies.

Brilliant….again!!
Alice Winters is my go to when I need a pick me up. Her stories are entertaining and ridiculously hilarious. My comfort author for sure.
The narrator did an amazing job with this entire series but in this one he went above and beyond, listening to this added sooo much to the story. You can never be let down with Michael as the narrator. Whatever he’s paid, he deserves a raise!!!

Such fun
Story a bit convoluted but absolutely love the characters so brilliantly brought to life by Mr Ferraiuolo and I know I’ll listen to the whole series again and again forever and ever.

amazing as always!
Michael did a fantastic job as always, honestly my favourite narrator ever. This is certainly one of Alice Winters best books, which isn't saying much since they're all brilliant.Enjoyed it so much, laughed almost the whole way through 🤣

5 Stars isn't enough!!
I've read the book and ADORED it and I finally got round to listening to the audio and omg , Michael Ferraiuolo did such a wonderful job with the narration that I was crying with tears of laughter one minute, crying tears of sorrow another and back to tears of laughter again. Leland and Cassel's "singing" will go down in legend and I'll NEVER be able to listen to "My Heart Will Go On" ever again without laughing!!

the funny moments the titanic song about the fence
I have all the hitman books and they are brilliant. this one is really funny. I hope Every is ok in the future and might find love with one of the crazy lot. Leyland and Jackson are great as usual

Worth a credit
After binge listening to books 1-4 and Cassels book I broke I read the ebook when it released as I wasn’t sure I could wait for the audiobook .as soon as I found out the audio had released I got it and it was amazing the antics and singing were next level when you can hear Leland he’s absolutely batsh1t crazy .

wonderfully entertaining
Once again I was both engrossed and entertained and laughed so much!
I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series!
