Summary
Ten days after the station closed, he was informed he'd been officially suspended pending a hearing over allegations of gross misconduct. No details. Oh Nick Belsey, don’t ever leave me.
I’ve just binged all 3 Belsey novels and am left in a raw state of Bromance and Love.
Come back Nick!!
The reviews for me on this trilogy were quite off putting and small minded. I adored the way that Simon Harris plotted these books with such masterly boldness. By book 3 I was picking up on clues earlier and got used to the madness and investigative linking and daring that NB does. He is audacious but a good man. I love how he get information out of people.
Bravo. Made me fall in Love with London all over again.
What’s breathtakingly good choice of reader. At first I could not commit to the choice of Nicks lower register, deep deep voice but eventually as my Bromantic journey grew, I loved it.

This series is getting too unbelievable.
a bit too far fetched. The writing is good and the narrator is the best in the business but the maverick cop is just taken too far. He keeps making unbelievably stupid decisions. taking evidence instead of just examining it. interfering in cases for no reason. just over the top.

Brilliant book! Classy, clever and gripping
Brilliant book! Classy, clever and gripping. Less complex than book 2 but still many plot twists and turns. Extremely well researched. The geographical detail alone is excellent. Fantastic narrator whose accents are superb and characterisation of main character excellent. And his female voices are completely believable - always a test and a plus for a convincing narration.
