Limited and yet Freeing

What you get, throughout this book, is recordings from Guy Finleys seminars where he explains the illusion that we place ourselves in and believe in causing our own pain...which ironically our illusions claim to be the cure for.

This is a good book, BUT if you get his concept in chaoter one expect to get fairly bored during the latter 6 or 7. That's not to say I didn't find myself nodding in agreement during the latter chapters, but I did find myself not engaging as much as I could have since the core message was repeated.

A mixed bag

The message is clear and interesting but the performance is really bad. Why on earth do you need to shout to the audience. I am so glad this title was included in the plus membership. Will not finish the book.

Hhhmmm

I stuck with this book purely because I hoped it would bring me one nugget or something different. Don’t get me wrong. There are times when it’s good but it’s not a normal audio book. It’s a college lecture. I hope you enjoyed it more than I did.

Never heard of Guy Finley before

Not bad at all, some great thought provoking words of wisdom delivered in a very compelling if not sometimes a little too intense way. Fans of Wayne Dyer and the like will enjoy this collection of speeches.

Very shouty

I throughly enjoyed listening to the first 2 hours of this audio. However after that the narrator becomes very shouty and I found myself getting all stressed up, and I felt great relief switching it off. A shame really, as he does have something which is really interesting to listen to and learn from, but the shouty and aggressive narration made me feel as if I was in one of those evangelical churches. Just not for me.

Hilariously accurate on the human mind

Such clarity on the stupidity of men and women. Desi Arnaz Jr. chose a great author to promote. Bravo. Your parents would be proud of you.

The Last Breath

This is great take on the principle of being born again, getting out of the gut despite the self destructive cycles there's always an opportunity to get out. I feel like it is a good encouragement to take the first step towards the light, not letting yourself be a house of darkness but a tool by which the Light can exercise its great purpose.
