This book is a real 'Hang on in there' read.
The first part seemed to drag on forever, yes, I understand the plot needs a background but this wasn't interesting and unfortunately, even the narrator sounded fed up. The middle part was gripping, interesting, mind provoking and the end was a damp squib!
Saying that, not a bad effort for a newbie and fingers crossed the next book will have some more substance.

What a clever, compelling story.
I loved this book, being the first Anna Wharton novel I have listened to. I shall immediately search for another. The story was compelling and beautifully narrated. The characters were all totally convincing and it was thought provoking.

Struggled to finish this
I didn't like this book at all and it certainly wasn't a page turner, in fact very little seemed to happen. Chloe, the lead character, was bizarre, unbelievable and totally unlikeable. The author didn't allow us to use our imagination almost spelling out every possibility and I was completely underwhelmed by the story and the ending. it's only saving grace was the narrator who was easy to listen to and who tried her best to inject some life into it. I was almost relieved when it ended.
