Summary

This collection bundles the first three books of the action-packed John Stone adventure.

The Hard Kill

John discovers the murder of his friend, and abduction of his goddaughter might involve a prototype technology that could threaten the security of the free world. Now, with time running out, he must rely on the abilities of his former life to save his goddaughter from the same fate as her father. They want power. He's going to bring them a war.

Divide and Conquer

John hunts down the man who murdered his friend and fellow Ranger. With the support of a privately funded special mission force, John and his new brothers-in-arms pursue a team of highly trained mercenary operatives connected to his target. As the case unfolds, they find themselves in a race to discover the truth behind a top secret joint-military venture.

Fractured Allegiance

John's discovery of Project: Guardian reveals deeper levels of corruption than anyone knew. But when someone with considerable power shakes things up, John becomes a primary suspect. Forced into hiding, unable to trust his former teammates, John Stone must clear his name. To finish the job, John must confront a threat from his past.

Great listen

Like how the story starts so randomly but then takes you on a wild ride until the conclusion. Great listen, next box set now in my library.

Good storyline overall taken to fruition.

Stone is a one man terminator. The stories are high octane and a good listen and could maybe do with more padding on side issues which I think would not make the book any less a great listen but could lengthen the overall book. This could then add to reference points for further books in series to cap upon and give the writer more references to explore moving forward. Just an idea. Overall a great listen.

Good over evil no matter what

The pace good - like to think a man would carry on no matter what not letting money & power win no matter the odds

John Stone

Great story, well constructed and connected. I like to dive into a good series of books, when they are well written with fleshed out characters. I tried the first 3 as part of the audible library [free no harm no foul]
And found them very enjoyable. good pacing, strong characters and I like Roger Wayne's style of narration. The Manning brothers use of tactical and technical phrase is spot on.
I have purchased the next trilogy with a credit and know it is well spent.
give them a try I'm sure you'll like it.
