Summary
After a long journey to Saturn’s moon Enceladus, spaceship ILSE is on its way back to Earth, carrying crucial cargo. The crew is exhausted and wants nothing more than a quick return home. Suddenly, a chain of malfunctions puts the expedition in peril.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but...
I'm generally unphased by different styles of narration, but what is this? I really enjoyed the previous ice moon books, but the narrator has changed and genuinely sounds like a robot. it's like having the book read to you by a bad text-to-speech programme. Can't comment at all on the book as didn't even get through the first chapter before deciding to return. I'll have to purchase the book instead.

Would have given up but 4 books in!
As has been mentioned elsewhere, the performance on this book was terrible. It really does sound like a poor text to speech converter rather than a human being. There are mispronunciations of words (including Enceladus - which is the subject of the book series!) as well as repeated sentences, large periods of silence at the end of chapters and even a truncated chapter 29 - hopefully just one sentence.
If I wasn't committed to the series (this being book 5) I wouldn't have bothered beyond chapter 1. But I really wanted to hear how the story progressed so I stuck with it. I got used to the voice but it never became an easy listen.
I don't know if anyone from Audible reads these reviews but if you do, please review this audiobook and see whether you think it meets your standards. As someone with hundreds of books in their Audible library, I certainly don't think it does.
