Summary

Sixteen-year-old Dita Golian is destined to be a killer. But she doesn’t know it. Then one day, on her way to school, she is kidnapped. Her life changes forever and all the lies she had been told growing up are revealed.

Crime, homelessness, and corruption have infiltrated Los Angeles. William Pop Brasher finds himself in the middle of the search to find a mob boss’s daughter. His team includes Pete Connelly and Beverly Campos, two detectives whose specialties are invaluable in finding missing persons.

In the first Pop Brasher novel, Tick Tock, Brasher tracks down and captures Melvin Turner, who blew up part of Pershing Square. His notoriety got him a promotion to lieutenant and this touchy assignment.
