About this listen

A woman sits beside her father's bed as the night ticks away the final hours of his life. As she watches over him, she relives the past week and the events that have brought the family together.

Sitting through her lonely vigil, she remembers what she saw all those years ago, the thing they found her screaming for. And as she peers through the window, she finds herself hoping it will come again.

Heart warming story

3.5 Stars
A good book, well thought out and nicely written. I liked that it was done through the daughters eyes which showed the reader the life and illness of the dad from someone else's point of view. This was heartbreaking and funny at times but overall a great emotional book that makes you think about many things, would definitely recommend.

Well read, well written

Beautifully written and very well read. This is a raw and honest reflection on frailty and mortality, with just a touch of the fantastic.
