About this listen
Things like that never happen in Black Dog.
But then it happened. It happened fast.
Two fishermen caught something they weren’t expecting on Black Dog Lake. A mysterious virus with an almost supernatural way of evolving is spreading. People get sick. People get violent. People die. But, the disease lives on. It’s hunger to survive rivals that of mankind.
Survivors are forced to do the unimaginable to live another day. Winston Fleming shot his neighbor in the head. He knows it’s just the beginning as more people become infected.
Just when it seems all hope is lost, a secret military organization arrives. But is ARMA there to help or clean up the mess? Who survives? Mankind or the virus?
Find out now.

"I am the dawning of a new generation."
Having read book three of the Great Dying trilogy (yes, I know, but I'd liked the title!), I was so impressed I really wanted to know what had gone before. So, another free download from the Free Audio Book Codes website - my deep thanks to the rights holder who made it available to anyone who wanted it - to find out, hopefully, how it had all started and why?
This is an apocalyptic zombie novel set in the small town of Black Dog, which becomes the focus for an experiment which, possibly, goes wrong and focuses, mainly, on two of the inhabitants. Tightly written, although there are occasional unnecessary repeats, this audio book is also well narrated by soothing voiced Alex Black, with a commendable level of emotion, clarity and individual character voicing. He brings the mental pictures to life. Some gore, some action and also the answer to some of the questions I brought from my reading of book three. But I guess that I will now need to move on to book two to fill the gap.
Recommended to anyone who enjoys zombie stories.
