Summary
My father has been kidnapped by my worst enemies. Either that, or he willingly sold me out to them.
Whatever the case, I’m going to find him. Mind you, this would be a lot easier if every Fae in Chicago wasn’t already out for my blood.
They’re not getting it, though.
The only one who’s getting anywhere near my blood is the 700-year-old vampire who saved me. Yes, there are times when I’m convinced he’s not quite right in the head, but so far he’s the only supernatural being I’ve met who sees me as a person rather than a chess piece.
To the rest of them, I’m nothing more than the walking, talking evidence of a war crime. To him, I’m something else. He calls me a loose thread in the tapestry of his forgotten past, but he looks at me like I might be the key to his future.
The rest of them tell me I’m demonkin. They say I’m a succubus-human hybrid who shouldn’t exist.
One thing is very clear, though. My father is carrying a secret bigger than I ever dreamed, and I’m damn well going to pry it out of him.
I just have to get him back from the Fae first. Because, hey - what could possibly go wrong?
The Last Vampire is a steamy urban fantasy romance series from USA Today best seller R. A. Steffan and Jaelynn Woolf, coauthors of the Circle of Blood saga.
Download book two today, and return to a world shared by humans, fae, demons, and one very reluctant vampire. It’s a place where the supernatural threatens the mundane, nothing is as it seems, and love will be either the world’s downfall or its salvation.

Take a bite
Once you got the sex scenes out of the way (Well the main character is a succubus/human), I enjoyed this story, I don't think it was as action packed as the first book but it still has me wanting to get book three to find out what happens next.
The story takes up were the last book left off (I don't think you need to have read or listened to the first book but it helps so I would recommend you do.) Zorah must decide the best way to save her human father from the Fae. She has only just found out the truth about being part demon and part human, up until last week she didn't even know demons existed let alone magic. Now she has to go up against the Fae, can she go it alone or will she turn to Rans the last Vampire in the world for help.
The narrator (Gwendolyn) is one of my favourite readers and I have never listened to a book and not enjoyed it if she is reading it. She puts so much energy, emotion and range into each character that they easily come to life.

Great story
Brilliant next installment into Zorahs initiation into all things paranormal.
Dark and gritty at times but Zirahs mental ramblings are highly amusing and her chemistry with Rans is scorching.
Thoroughly enjoyable!
Great narration

An excellent example of urban fantasy/para romance
I will start with the narration. Mainly because I usually end with it.
Gwendolyn Druyor is VERY good as a narrator. If you’ve never had the pleasure of listening to her narration you are most definitely in for a treat. She’s very good and brings a real sense of atmosphere to the books she narrates. Once again this is narrated excellently.
Zorah who is not the last Vampire is central to the story and we have a character that is very well developed through the book. You get very engaged in most of the characters but especially Zorah. It's an incredibly imaginative yet real feeling world and the story gives us action with enough twists and turns to really keep you listening. I enjoyed the banter between Zorah and Rans. In fact I really like it when you get that between two central characters where you find yourself smiling at it. The author has crafter all of the characters and the world very well. You will certainly enjoy this book!
Very good and very enjoyable.

Excellent!
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I don’t know why it took me so long to find this series as it’s all I love in a book. Things get even worse for Zorah can Rans sabe her before it’s too late ? Caspian is an even bigger arse if that’s even possible 😂
