College fun.
I got this audiobook at my request via a promo code and this is my honest voluntary review.
Book 1 of the College of Charleston series by Kate L Mary focuses on sheltered military brat Annie who is desperate to escape her overprotective father and 4 older brothers and finally carve out a life of her own. Under the influence of her roommate Cami, she comes up with The List, 20 things to get done before she turns 20. Some of them are very basic girly milestones she's never been allowed to experience, highlights, ears pierced, the other more serious things leave her right into the crossroads of Cami's cousin Ryan Cole and his best friend Chris, two cute guys who are both interested in her. Unfortunately, she met the wrong one first, and Ryan is determined to honor the bro-code and let his buddy shoot his shot, even though the chemistry between him and Annie could combust the whole science department.
Sweet lil college romance, its a lot less angsty than her usual Zom Poc or Species stories but I enjoyed it.
Narration by Lucy Emerson was great.

A Young Adults Bucket List
This book is about a young lady who has been very sheltered all her life, so now that she away at college she plans to experience many of the things a teenager usually experiences growing up. She creates a lists of all 20 things she wants to do, like first kiss, get a piercing, have sex, etc. Needless to say she hits a few bumps in the road while trying to experience all she can. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone although you have characters from each book show up. I truly enjoyed this book and felt for the main character as she experienced the ups and downs while trying to have fun and be the young adult she so wants to be. The romance & sexy moments are very hot. I recommend reading all the books in this series, the stories are well written and the romance is hot with HEA's or at least HFN. The narrator did a great job, I felt she portrayed each character very well.

Really great listen. I couldn't take my buds out!
I listened in a day. I’m not a romance novel type listener. I love Kate L. Mary's style of writing and characters and how she builds the picture in the minds eye of the story she's trying to tell. Yet again she managed to hook, line and sinker me right in and I really don't listen to romance ... I’m an eye roller normally. definitely worth your credit!

A breath of fresh air... wonderful story
Kate L Mary Is fast becoming one of my favourite authors . Whatever genre she tackles always just seems to appeal to me - this book is no different. I really loved the idea of a somewhat type of ' bucket list' that is to be carried out whilst you are still young . Annie's backstory leading to the creation of the list made perfect sense and I think that in some ways everybody can relate to the dear of missing out. It is a fun and touching tale with great character chemistry. I was given this book by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review of the book
