Another Fantastic Novel

As many get killed and injured during WW1
it continues the story of the Hunter family, coping with grief and new beginnings.
beautifully narrated by Penelope Freeman, adding voices to the characters.
wonderfully written and executed.
definitely a must read. Can't wait to start the next in the series

So sad I've finished

I'm so sad to have finished book 4 because I have about six months to wait for the next wonderful instalment. I will miss all the characters and their lives.

Poignantly wonderful

Another compelling family saga incorporating in equal measure great historical moments from the period alongside the heartache and joys of life through the years of the Great War. Highly recommend.
