About this listen
Audible presents The Magadh Mystery, an Audible Original. Vidya is a young archaeologist who has spent her entire childhood listening to the stories of the Magadh Mystery, but neither Vidya nor her brother believed these stories. When Vidya’s father-like colleague found some inscriptions from the Magadh Dynasty during an excavation and was killed soon after, she had no choice but to set out on this journey to unravel the Magadh Mystery.

quite thrilling.
I was impressed with the quality of the cast. the story had some quite edge of the seat moments getting me more than a bit worried for the characters . definitely keeps you listening.

A bit far fetched with some obvious twists but fun
I initially found this story not to be that gripping but once I got into it I really wanted to keep going and find out what happened. Some bits were a bit far fetched (at one point the main antagonist does something that someone in that position wouldn't do because it would bring far too much attention) but it didn't impact the enjoyment of the story too much. I did find though that the two main twists were quite obvious and I spotted one from the start.
The only other niggle was some consistent mispronunciations - mythology was the most frequent and was pronounced by all characters as Mye-thology which was infuriating. We don't say mythes instead of myths after all! However I acknowledge that all of the performers likely learned English not in a native English speaking country. I actually did enjoy that the performers were all appropriate for the characters and the setting of the story.
Overall an enjoyable adventure that I would recommend for a light listen.

A Very Compelling Mystery
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The voice actors were excellent & the story was compelling. I am not from India, and enjoyed hearing the Indian voices & inflections, as well as the mythology.
