About this listen

Welcome to the mercenary ship The Blue Solace.

Leti Ando needs off planet and fast. He has a best friend and a new half-sister to rescue, and he needs to be sneaky about it. Unfortunately sneaky isn't really his thing. With the help of a friend, Leti and his menagerie, along with his two companions, stow away aboard a mystery ship. Little does he know that The Blue Solace belongs to the infamous mercenary, Captain Will Hackett, a man he'll come to love with everything inside him.

Will has been in a bitchy ass mood for the past six months. He's restless and grumpy, but doesn't know why. He knows he needs something and he can't find it, but his crew are out of patience and insist on some R&R back home at Charybdis Station.

Then Hack finds a stowaway angel and everything changes. Leti is his mate and he'll do anything to keep him safe and happy, even smile.

The galaxy's not a safe place, though, and The Blue Solace has a job to do: pick up a renowned scientist and his mysterious artifact. Then get them safely back to Charybdis Station. Hack and Leti don't realize their romance story is about to get hijacked by Concord mercenaries. Their love is easy, it happens just like that. Staying alive and keeping the galaxy safe? That's a little harder.

Author's Note: 42,000 words. This is a m/m insta-love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There is action, a little sex, mpreg, and a few potty mouths involved in the story. Age 18+ listeners only, please. It is also the first of two books about this specific couple.

Fun space opera :)

A fun and interesting story.
Let escapes from a horrible home situation, including a father that would sell his own daughter! Leti takes along his (soon to be freed slave), his baby sister (who he had to buy) and a zoo's worth of animals :) They stow away on the space ship of a notorious captain. The moment the stowaways are discovered by Hack (the captain), Hack realises that Leti is his mate.
As Leti, and his menagerie, integrate into Hack's life, they encounter danger, fun times and love. Really fun story!
The narration was just OK for me - it was nice, easy to listen to and a good way to experience the story. I would listen to the next in the series :)

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A great series

This mpreg love story is light and fluffy with no angst and no cheating. It's filled with action, sex and lots and lots of babies and pets. The humor is just right for me and I enjoy the thought of the male dragon Princess being a badass.
The story is well narrated and the voices match the characters.
I've heard the entire series several times and it never gets boring. You always get a HEA.

Great story well told

First it is a well written story there was two negative parts 1: the beginning the reader is tost into the story and as a listener I was taken to of the point not liking the story there was prelude to let you know about the book, the surroundings or history (bio). As story went alone it did get better but the characters could have been better described. The second one for me alone I not into part of the sex act of the man getting wet that sounds like you are with a women not a man and for me very discussing.
For the white story it was good I personally can not reccomend the book and the series if written this way.
The content of running away slave, fighting bad men, rescuing captured slaves and a very many animals some we know and some not. Also you get to a know about a possible negative future with many races and some , described itv is an adventure well told

A well written book and the audio made it an extremely enjoyable experience. Narration fits to the characters well.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Pretty Cute

Pretty funny. (I hope it was supposed to be humorous.) Naw, of course it was. Fated mates in space!

C.W. Gray is super creative with their descriptions of all the different species.

Audio nicely performed by Connor Brown.
