Summary
A man is dead. And only I know why.
As we sit drinking wine by the river and I gaze into his dark brown eyes, I know I have finally met the man of my dreams. I have been hurt before, but this time will be different.
He has a terrible past, and everyone tells me he can’t be trusted, but they don’t know what I know. I know deep down that together we can overcome anything.
Because sure he has secrets, but who doesn’t?
But now a man is dead. And the police are knocking on my door.
Was trusting him the biggest mistake I could make? I don’t know where to go or who to turn to. What if I am next?
This addictive and gripping psychological thriller is perfect for fans of The Housemaid, The Family Across the Street, and The Family Upstairs.

Very good example of twisty thriller
I listen to a lot of twisty thrillers and this is one I'd recommend. Difficult to say more without introducing spoilers - enjoy!!

Absolutely unexpected plot twists
Very enjoyable dark journey through some twisted stuff. Interesting double perspective. Intriguing links between characters. Read very well to bring out the complexity.

Boring
Boring, predictable E super uninteresting! One of those books that are written to chock you with the twist, not to be enjoyable and intelligently written. A waste of time!
