Summary

Jaw droppingly exciting
Absolutely spectacular book - completely unputdownable with all the twists and turns. Had me on the edge of my seat for the entire book, not knowing what was going to happen on the next page! Excellent debut novel from Melanie Price, can’t wait to read more from her!

Worth a listen

WOW!!!
WOW!! Best thing I’ve listened to in a while! It’s full of shocking twists that I never saw coming. I nearly missed my stop in my commute, I was so engrossed in the story. I enjoyed it immensely and the two narrators made it so immersive, fantastic performances. And that ending… OMG! A complete jaw-dropper for me. Highly recommend, well worth a credit.

Page turner
Suspence throughout the whole book, couldn’t put it down. Intriguing story with a surprising twist. Great debut of Melanie Price! Can’t wait for the next book!

A Gripping Tale!
Absolutely loved this book by Melanie Price. The story had me hooked right from the start. I couldn’t stop listening. So many twists and turns and just when I thought I’d figured it out, bam the surprises just kept on coming!
A beautifully written book, loved seeing the characters develop, sometimes in the most surprising ways! Also loved the two-person POV narration!
I can’t wait for Melanie’s next book!

Fun listen with a great plot!
This was a great thriller - the voice actors were really talented and kept you engaged throughout the book. This has a great plot with fun twists and turns.

So gripping! Loved it!
From the get-go with that prologue I was hooked! With the dual narration I had no idea what the twist was going to be - and seriously I tried to guess, but that ending was not what I was expecting at all! Loved it! I’ve also not listened to any dual narrations before where it switches in the middle, and so it made me even more gripped - constantly kept me on my toes!

Terrible narration
I’m afraid I just could not bear the ridiculous voices put on by the narrator. I tried to keep with the story till Chapter 5 and then gave up. It felt like being at a pantomime acted by children who were practising the most absurd voices they could possibly put on. Sad, as the story might be fine. And sad as I’ve wasted my money.
