As she steps out of her house in full uniform, Jemima can feel the eyes on the back of her neck and she can see the curtains and blinds twitching.
But the crucial question is why did the lonely gentleman at the end of the road get murdered, eating dinner alone at his garden table, tucking into a new bottle of Chablis? As she digs deeper into the murder, Jemima discovers that here in Little Cote, underneath the surface, tensions bubble away...and the smallest vendetta can erupt into full blown murder.

This was great fun, really enjoyed this book!
I wasn't sure what to expect this was a book series I found while looking for something good, and oh did I find a good book. The story was excellent but to be fair was not predictable as what I was guessing was the motive and who it was, were wrong... Poo! I like the characters, Penelope Rawlins is an absolute joy to listen to her narration is wonderful. I like it when it sounds like the narrator is enjoying reading the book. Rose Temple, great name is my new favourite author, I had not heard of her before and am looking forward to listening to more of her books. I am dyslexic and struggle to read so I love audio books. I think I have listened to around 300 now since the beginning of COVID.

The Murders at Foxglove Close
i really enjoyed this book. i wasnt sure what it would be like to begin with. The narration was great. You cant help but get caught up with the characters and I was surprised by the ending. Looking forward to listening to the 2nd book in the series.
