About this listen

In this comprehensive work encompassing fifteen years of research and experience, the author takes you with her as she travels out of body to realms of light and darkness, discovering the mechanics of existence and the purpose and mission of our lives in this world. Taking with her the sacred writings and words of the prophets, saints, mystics and sages from many religions throughout time, the author weaves an intricate design which merges the teachings of the East and the West into a cohesive understanding.

An Amazing Epic - Perfect In Audiobook Format

Would you consider the audio edition of The Mysteries of the Redemption: A Treatise on Out-of-Body Travel and Mysticism to be better than the print version?

I read this amazing piece of work a few years ago, and it has had an absolutely massive effect on my life and my understanding of the bigger reality which is out there. Marilynn Hughes takes us on a long journey wherein she describes through her many mystical experiences a process of purification of the soul. In sharing her experiences, we are given an account of an exploration of a much bigger reality than most of us have ever been made aware of. And as we are taken through the many layers of this multi dimensional reality we hear a very human story which explores past lives, purgatory, other worlds and non physical environments. Heavenly realms, hellish realms. This is a story of sinfulness, of virtue, of suffering, of joy and enlightenment. It is an exploration into territories which we have heard and read about for centuries from mystics and from the writings of the worlds ancient religions. Entwined within the story, the author inserts passages from the worlds greatest sacred texts, which are always appropriate to the subject matter in discussion and give the experiences added depth and meaning. I would thoroughly recommend this as it really was life changing for me and continues to act as a point of reference and inspiration. I am delighted to say that the audio version is beautifully produced and works perfectly for the style of the book. Five stars!
