Summary

A baby's cry echoes in the basement of Proudshire Estate, yet there is no one left to hear her.

At the request of an old friend, Clyde Barker, a private investigator, launches into a dangerous investigation at the Proudshire Estate. The South Georgian family bands together to find their missing cousin.
