Summary

THEY FOUND EACH OTHER. NOW THEY MUST RESCUE WHAT THEY LEFT BEHIND. The highly anticipated sequel to the queer genre-bending dystopian romance All That's Left in the World.

Against the backdrop of a ravaged world, Andrew and Jamie have settled in a new community, more in love than ever. Finally they've reached safety and have each taken on roles and responsibilities in this new life. But it's soon clear they want different things:

Jamie is ready to move on and take to the road, just the two of them.

Andrew wants to remain in the safety of numbers.

With a storm brewing up the coast they have no choice to head back into the wilderness where old enemies roam and they don't know who to trust. Can they find their way back to safety and each other?

Excellent, stronger than the first

The first book was very good but it felt like the author was still building into his confidence. This time around he went full throttle and not only continued his strong character building and dialogue but also weaved a powerful plot. My only criticism would be that the end feels a little rushed, or at least lacking in details. But it’s relatively minor. 5/5.

Out of this world!

This book is the best sequel I’ve ever listen to. The performance from both narrator captures each character beautifully and the story was breath taking. I’m a big reader/ listener to many books and this is the first book in my life that’s made me feel so many emotions. I loved the first book and I love this one just as much. I fell in love with both main characters and felt every feeling they did though out the whole book. Definitely in my top 3 favourite books (the first one is in there too) I could not recommend to listen to this book more!!

wow!

i loved this, had so much fun reading it and got so sad when it ended. But i think as a sequel its not the best. The first book was so much more exciting and kept you on your toes. I think the plot for the second one was kind of just grasping at straws. But the new characters, each having personal characteristics and their own story. It was gorgeous to listen to

A fitting end to the first book.

If you've read the first book, this one is a must. You won't regret it!

Fabulous continuation to the first story

This book is truly touching and so well written. The introduction of new characters is done so well, and built so quickly and effortlessly that I began to care for them as much as those from the first installment.

The story is well thought out, building on themes of love, acceptance, grief and trust in a mature but engaging and familiar way.

I can't recommend this book enough, even after finishing it these characters have stayed with me

I don’t know how I feel

I loved the first one. And this is a good story. But I absolutely hated Andrew this time. I loved him the first book. But Andrew was the absolute worst part of this for me. He made every stupid selfish decision possible
