About this listen

A New York Times bestseller, The Paper Swan is a haunting tale of passion, loss, and redemption. Dark, gritty romance that sizzles with intrigue and suspense.

"You can either choose love or you can choose hate, because where one lives, the other will die."

Kidnapped a day short of her twenty-fourth birthday, Skye Sedgewick struggles to uncover her captor's motives. Damian Caballero is not only impossible to read, but also dark, troubled, and unflinchingly brutal.

For twenty-one days, Skye holds on. But on Day Twenty-Two, she yearns for the sweet slumber of death. Because on Day Twenty-Two, Skye realizes that her only way out means certain death for one of the two men she loves.

Intended for mature audiences due to violence, sex, and language. Subject may be disturbing for some listeners.

Fabulous 10 stars

Brilliant story with so much depth and intricacy, a brutal love story that has some really tender moments.
Attar really involves the reader, truely excellent story and well narrated by both Rae and Webber.
"Crunch, crunch, crunch."

Story don’t die

This book moved me.

When it started out I had to fight to keep listening, because I thought it was just a typical “kidnap” story, and then Wham! It hits every nerve.
I loved it so much, I made my sister and my mother read it.
Whom both loved it as much as I did.

Listen to it, if you’re looking for a good romance, with steamy sex and a beautiful telling. It’s an epic love story, with sadness and some very hard stuff too, but it’s worth every page.

Heart warming tale of love that doesn’t die, no matter what life throws your way.
But more importantly - it’s a story about letting go, so you can move on.

An epic story

I went in blind and wasn't quite expecting this, but what an epic story. It is a journey of a book, really beautifully written even when it is terrifying.

Easily could be a movie as I can still see everything so vividly, all the scenes, the settings... one for everyone's TBR / listened to.

The narrators did a great job portraying the accents and the emotions in the book.
