Disappointed
This could have been so much more but left me disappointed. The plot and characters were great and well thought out, but the story dragged on. I finished the book as I was invested in the characters but often found it boring and long winded.

The way the title was addressed with different voices throughout the chapters
A little long winded and a tad tedious at times but this title had me gripped from the beginning to the end with little bits just going on a bit more than was needed. It was just very long. It was a interesting story and liked how each chapter was told by the different characters. I rated the book 4 stars and would recommend if you are wanting a long tale.

I got thoroughly lost in this book!
Did I love this book? Yes - listened to it in two days. I feel like it was inspired loosely by Samantha Koenig’s murder, and brings the victims to the forefront, rather than sensationalising the killer.
I got so lost in this story that i found myself making excuses to listen a bit longer. Headphones in, i walked the dog a bit further, took the long route home in the car and did some evening gardening with headphones in!
The main character was somewhat obsessive - borderline stalker/out of control obsessive teen rather than the adult she was described as. But it just made me like it all the more. She wasnt a mary sue, she was desperate. I have a friend who went beyond the acceptable norms when dating. This mc really reminded me of her, and i therefore found her behaviour credible. Others said it felt forced but from experience, I disagree.
The narration is really good. Was a bit put off by the extensive cast, but actually most of them are victims briefly recounting their experiences so there’s no trouble remembering which voice belongs to whom.
Thoroughly enjoyable and a really well written debut. Will definitely look out for her next one!

Enjoyed it
Quite gripping, enjoyed the story line.will look at his other books, would recommend. Good to try different authors.
