The Scotch King
Joseph Ingram made the mistake of stealing from me - four million dollars. He took my intelligence without paying for it. And thought he could get away with it. Think again. Now I’ll take something from him - something irreplaceable. His sister. Collateral. But even when Joseph doubles the amount of money he owes me, I don’t give her up. Nope. I have an image to maintain. So I keep her. And I’m not giving her up.
The Scotch Queen
I wasn't sure what changed my mind about giving London to Bones, but something did. Now London is officially mine. She's sassy, feisty, and she still tells me off when I have her under my thumb. I love it. Now I have a deal with the Barsetti brothers, Josephine is still pining for me, and revenge is heavy on my mind. I'm not sure what to do with London now that I'm not gonna kill her. But I'm certainly not going to fall in love with her.
The Scotch Royals
London is a lot more useful than I anticipated. She gets me what I need like a pro. With her by my side, I feel like I can do anything. My need for revenge is dimmed. My anger is contained. But her brother is still a problem. She wants me to let him go. I'm not sure if I can.

Fantastic
Book 1
I loved this book. The storyline is brutal and honest. There’s an edge to it that I was looking for. Excellent performance from both narrators.
Book 2
This second book does not disappoint. With the strong characters and storyline it’s a winning combination.
Book 3
This second book does not disappoint. With the strong characters and storyline it’s a winning combination.

Light and Enjoyable!
Although this is sold as a dark romance, I found it rather light! Ok, so he was a bad man initially as he kidnapped and imprisoned her for six months and there is of course the possibility of the Stockholm syndrome, but we are talking fairytale here and as London's brother was mixed up in this sordid life, it shouldn't have come as any surprise.
Having said the above, Crew treated London very well and it was lovely to see their relationship develop. Having said this, take out the daily sex scenes and the books could have been cut down to two books! I Ioved their chemistry and Crew, once you get to know him is actually a real softy! I only wish that London had spoken to him earlier about her thoughts and alleviated the unnecessary angst, but that's the story!
As for his business partner, I don’t understand why she had to be so malignant and I thought she got off far too leniently. It would have been good to know her back story and I felt that there could have been another more interesting story there. Perhaps for another day.
It would have been fun if London could have become more involved with the Skotch business thereby giving a reason to get rid of the gnome!
Narration wise, please tell Samantha Cook to pronounce Edinburgh correctly as in ....burra and not ....burg! Also for some reason Michael couldn't get a handle on Joseph. He is American and not either Irish or Scottish!!! This drove me insane as his voice kept changing and funnily enough was never narrated as an American!
Another thing that irked me was the fact that a duchess is addressed as "Your Grace" and not "Lady" and for some reason he was never referred to by his correct title.
Overall, I really liked it and loved the epilogue. I didn't want the story to end and I would love to hear more about Joseph.
