Shadow of Soulkind
I've tried this book a few times.I loved the first one,but have found this one so boring. It starts out slow and barely picks up.I'd love to see through animals eyes...that is about all I have taken away.Daniel Susco is ok as narrator this time around, but it seems such a dry reading. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP !!!
The first book of the Soulkind series seems like it was written to be as a single book but just in case the author have left himself ways to continue if he wished or had a great idea of a good continuation which is exactly what he have done.
Once again the Author Steve Davala impressing writing is way to much, its so good that you can’t take a break not even for sleep, eat or a go to the bathroom.
This second book of the series is so awesome which is also the worst because it leaves you stuck without a clue to which way the story the author is planning on continuing but one thing for sure is that after the first two the amazing author can’t disappoint !
Once again narration by Daniel Susco is perfection, not manny narrators use a different voice for each character the way Daniel does so amazingly good.
This is a story that you are dying to finish and at the same time you always wish for more.
Without a doubt,
Absolute recommendation !
Oded Ostfeld.

Fantasy
OK, first off I have not listened or read book one. It was hard to follow at first but the author gives enough information that I know what happened previously. However, I would recommend you read the first book before you move on to this one.
I have to admit that I enjoyed it a lot more then expected because I have not followed them from the beginning so I thought I might not understand the character. But the author is talented and sucks you into the the book.
The story follows Jace and his friends as they discover the magic they possess. I liked the fact that not everyone is the same and it affects them in different ways.
This book is fast paced, with action, adventure, choices, friendship and humour. There is a few surprises as well.
Looking forward to the next book in the series!
