Summary
The Simple Truth is a tense courtroom drama with a fast-paced plot from best-selling author David Baldacci.

New Author to me
My husband recommended this author to me, wasn’t sure at first but stuck with it, and I did really enjoyed it once I got in to the story, I’m sure the narrator helped with the enjoyment.

Didn’t see that coming...
Haven’t been able to put this book down. The beginning was a little slow but it soon became evident why because of the background story
It soon speeds up and boy what a ride. One of my favourite authors!.

Just Superb
Excellent story with very strong narration. Baldacci is at his best when he blends, politics, the army and in this book legal too. The plot is simple but builds up in intrigue, it introduces sub plots and that works really well. Honestly I can’t fault this book. Highly recommended holiday listen!

Justice?
An engrossing, at times alarming 'cover-up' drama, with a not too favourable peak into the Supreme Court, America's legislature.
The conclusion was good but the 'god stuff' at the very end was unnecessary.
This was my first encounter with both David Baldacci & Jonathan Marosz; of the novelist it won't be my last but can't say the same for the narrator, whose deadpan monotone narration only lifted itself during dialogue.

Simply genius
Well written and perfectly narrated. I couldn't get any sleep until I finished the book. What a thriller! Good for anyone in a stressful job needing to switch off
