Summary
When Horus fell, his Sons fell with him. A broken Legion, beset by rivalries and hunted by their erstwhile allies, the former Luna Wolves have scattered across the tortured realm of the Eye of Terror. And of Abaddon, greatest of the Warmaster's followers, nothing has been heard for many years. Until now....

A book that digs in to your brain
We’re to start. This has to be the Audible book I have enjoyed the most so far, the word wizardry and voice performance is unmatched.
If you have not done so, download this book, and succumb to the new Warmasters brotherhood.

Abaddon Returns
Aaron does a fantastic job in setting up his series around the Warmaster and his followers, as they bring the fight to the Imperium.
Characters are fleshed out and intriguing, the setting is alluring to say the least leaving you wanting to know more about the Vengeful Spirit and its crew.
I'm not going to wait to get my teeth into the next installment and neither should you.

Great!
Loved it. The narrator really brings a fantastic story to life.
The combination of Dembski-Bowden and Keeble is clearly a tough one to beat.

A true feeling of an epic
From the very beginning this tale had the feel of a true epic being told
the narrator is absolutely perfect for this role and voices all the players perfectly. The story itself is gripping and powerful.
upon completion I immediately started book 2. Highly recommended.

Secrets become known...
It was a good story, well read, covering a number of gaps.
New favourites will arise, old villains resurface

One of the best
One of the best Warhammer books to date. Doesn't get bogged down in repetitive fight scenes and overuse of 40k jargon like a lot of the other titles. Great characters that you feel invested in. Can't recommend more.
