Summary

The New York Times best-selling author Donna Grant returns to the highlands in the third book in her sizzling Rogues of Scotland series, complete with breathtaking romance and the enchantment of the paranormal.

A man consumed by rage

Stefan Kennedy was cursed by a gypsy and sentenced to a prison of darkness and despair. A hell that only served to feed the monster within. Unexpectedly released from his mystical cell, he’s engulfed by fury and overcome by his need for vengeance, until a beautiful and caring woman unexpectedly tames his inner beast.

With just one touch, she makes his rage fade away. Stefan knows that he owes it to his friends to find out what happened to them after their run-in with the gypsy, but the mysterious and enchanting Morvan may be a temptation that he cannot resist.

A woman's magical touch

Morvan has always been a child of the forest. She spends her days using her unique gifts to calm and heal the animals she encounters near her woodland cottage. But when she finds herself compelled across clan borders to a mysterious cliff with a wall of strange etchings, she’s helpless to resist.

Somehow, Morvan magically brings forth a stranger seemingly more beast than man, yet despite the inherent dangers, she's driven to help the handsome highlander. While his appearance in her life may end up shattering the peace she’s worked so hard to find, he could also prove to be the man of her dreams.

This is an all-new, never-before-published novella.

More, please!!

This is the third instalment in the Rogues of Scotland series about four curse highlanders. The curse can only be lifted after they overcome their demons. Tempted is Stefan's story, and it's wonderfully written and engaging. Despite the length, it's not rushed and still very gratifying. I do wish it was more of a novel, at least a couple of hours longer. It would then provide a full scope of the characters', highland warriors and their fierce ladies', backstories.

Excellent narration John Hartley and Zoë Watkins, they portrayed the characters' personalities and emotions very well; I thoroughly enjoyed their performance. Overall this was a fabulous historical highlander romance, and I recommend it.

Great dual narration

This is a story that I had read quite a while ago, I enjoyed it then and this made the story even better, I have always loved dual narration, but with the Scottish burr, this is outstanding. It really made it good.
