Summary
While visiting her grandmother's house, an old photograph leads Tanya to an unsolved mystery.
Fifty years ago a girl vanished in the woods nearby - a girl Tanya's grandmother will not speak of. Fabian, the caretaker's son, is tormented by the girl's disappearance. His grandfather was the last person to see her alive and has lived under suspicion ever since. Together, Tanya and Fabian decide to find the truth. But Tanya has her own secret: the ability to see fairies. And after disturbing an intruder in the night, it emerges that someone else shares her ability....

13 treasures discussed but not used
I feel the story hugely missed out on the excitement of either how the protagonist found or used each treasure. Instead it's just talked about but the plot is actually all about other things. Apart from that niggle it was an enjoyable book to listen to. The narrator did a great job.

Absolutely Enchanting!
What a fantastic storyteller Michelle Harrison is. the narrator Nicky Diss conjured the story beautifully. I’m an adult 56 going on 10 and I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you and I look forward to reading the next book.
