This book is an essential listen!

A harrowing yet compelling story, beautifully written and powerful in its imagery.

While the family at the heart of this story is fictional, the historical details throughout depict both the best and worst of humanity.

The author’s poignant postscript underscores the chilling facts and statistics of the atrocity which must never be forgotten.
