Summary

Martin Moran performs his hit off-Broadway play, heralded as "Surprising and moving! Startling, marvelously told" by New York Newsday.

A true story of sexuality, spirituality, and the mystery of human experience, The Tricky Part is one of the most beloved one-man plays in recent memory. Between the ages of 12 and 15, the creator/performer, Martin Moran, had a sexual relationship with an older man. Now over 40 years later and an established New York actor, he has transformed his story into a riveting, often funny, and surprising journey through the complexities of Catholicism, desire, and human trespass.

Martin Moran makes his living as an actor and writer in New York City. He has appeared in many Broadway and off-Broadway plays, including Titanic, Cabaret, Bells Are Ringing, and Floyd Collins. He won a 2004 Obie Award for The Tricky Part.

Note: The Tricky Part contains mature and sensitive themes.

Something I never experienced before!

If you never heard about it like I did just give it a go. It's beautiful and funny, sensual and real... Finally something which doesn't draw on the black or white picture of life but does it a true justice. I'm absolutely grateful for this shining diamond in the ashes of the contemporary movements!

Weirdly life-enhancing

....despite the nature of the subject matter. You will fall in love with the narrator.
