About this listen
For those of you who listened to The Unknown Mongol, you're probably wondering just what the hell happened. If you enjoyed the first book, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one just as much.
This book starts where the first book, The Unknown Mongol, ended. The year is 1998, and Scott "Junior" Ereckson, the national president of the Mongols Motorcycle Club, has been convicted of assault with a deadly weapon. Because he's an ex-felon and it’s his second strike, he's been sentenced to 14 years in state prison.
Follow Junior as the unforgiving steel doors of freedom slam behind him. Go with him on this wild ride to hell and back. Experience the ins and outs of Los Angeles County Jail, "the closest place to hell on Earth", then on to California state prison. Hold on tight as you share the happiness, sadness, and relationships in this unbelievable but true, gripping expedition of one man’s life.

Another great read
Less MC oriented than the first but written in a captivating way. Shocking and gripping at the same time

Incredible story
Loved the first one and bought this one thinking it may be an unneeded sequel. I was wrong, this is as interesting if not more than the first. I also preferred the narration on this one over the first. A must read if you’ve read the first.

Great follow on story and well narrated
since listening to The Unknown Mongol some time ago, I have often wondered what happened to Junior during prison and his life after.
randomly searching his name, hoping another book would be out and I find this!
A brilliant follow up story which is written very well and narrated well too. The narrator is different to the one in Unknown Mongol (which I listened to again before listening to Unknowm Mongol 2) and it took me a while to get used to a new voice BUT the narrator used for this book suited it very well. Almost making you feel that as Junior matured going through life, the voice represented that maturity and want to become a better person and Mongol. It suited the book perfectly.
Overall an amazing audio book and well worth the wait since the first. I highly recommend giving both Juniors books a listen. I hope for there to be a 3rd in the future. 👍

Great Follow on from Book 1
If you’ve read the first book “The Unknown Mongol” then this is a ingesting follow on, based mostly on Juniors incarceration it still lays heave on MC values and is throughly enjoyable if you enjoyed the first book.
