Summary
New York Times best-selling author Tad Williams is a storyteller with imagination and vision. This saga builds an epic fantasy world that comes alive with character-driven fantasy and dazzling attention to detail that immediately grabs your attention from the first word.
The sequel to one of the best loved fantasy epics of all time, the inspiration for Christopher Paolini and George R. R. Martin.
The Witchwood Crown continues the story of Simon, servant boy made king, and his queen, Miriamele, 30 years after the events of the concluding part of the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy. In To Green Angel Tower, the might of the Storm King was conquered by the League of the Scroll. Now new troubles have come to the kingdom of Osten Ard, a world where humans, Norns and the Sithi can live in peace for only a little time before war raises its head....

Eclipses MS&T
As much as I love the original series, I found this book to be so much more. I high recommend to old fans, new fans and general fantasy fans. Excellent.

A long awaited continuation of the Dragonbone Chair trilogy.
This has a slow beginning as we reacquaint ourselves with the characters but is an engrossing story, leaving me anxious to continue the tale. Well narrated.

Impeccable fantasy
Memory, Sorrow and Thorn was very good but The Last King of Osten Ard is great! Some of the best fantasy I’ve read!
A word of warning though Williams is taking his time finishing the last book and according to his website it will not be published this year. It’s going to be a tough wait after I’ve finished Empire of Grass...

An amazing fantasy novel
Tad Williams is great and this story is the best of his so far (including dragon bone chair series). The performance is perfect and I can't wait for the next one.

Love Tad William's fantasy stuff
Enjoyed all the characters other than a couple that were a bit annoying!
Wish I had seen this earlier rather than 5yrs late 😮
My only complaint was that the recording suddenly shifted from one set of characters to another very quickly, just a few seconds gap would have been better.
Looking forward to the rest.

good yarn
some interesting twists and reveals! enjoyable to listen along to though I did find myself drifting off at some points and had to rewind numerous times....but I am 6 books in so it becomes a bit like a background story at times.

What a performance! What a way to come back to Ost
This book is a fantastic example of the best writing Tad Williams has ever done, and the performance is truly out of this world. I immediately downloaded the sequel and will be listening to anything else performed by Andrew Wincott. A must-have if you enjoyed the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series!

Good but slow to get going
I enjoyed this eventually, but nearly sent it back early on. I have listened to and enjoyed many audiobooks by Tad Williams, this isn’t quite as good as I’d hoped.
