A good idea but..
This is a good story with plenty of twists and turns. Not particularly well crafted but still a good story. The characterisation is strange, the physical descriptions are highly detailed. The issue is you really do not care about them, you do not feel their motivations or what they think. It is hard to get invested in two dimensional characters.

Fine but forgettable thriller
A lot of thought went into the structure but the plot and characters weren’t developed so the ending felt cheated and ludicrous. Given this was written for Audible, not sure why it stipulated Welsh accents. The narrator didn’t have a chance and in the end opted for “generic British” , whatever that might be.

What a plot twist +++

Great story, Welsh accent was pretty dodgy.
Really good yarn, many twists and turns in the story, good characterisation. Welsh accents are difficult, the curator probably should have just stuck with a middle class UK accent.

Nicely different
Great narrator and great story line. A bit different from the norm, took a little while to connect the different characters to the different stories but with the set out of the chapters it all worked perfectly. I enjoyed listening.

Very poor Welsh accent
Enjoyed the story but American actors don’t even try to attempt a Welsh accent. It’s just an English accent. Scottish accents are just Irish . Maybe that’s ok for US listeners but it really grates if you’re from this side of the Atlantic. Plain lazy.

Not for me
This was a very boring confusing story to many characters and narrator could not come across any more bland if she tried. No personality brought into this book which made it long and boring and really a waste of time. Even though this is a free book not worth the time
