Summary
In Maywood Heights, stars burn bright. They fall even harder.
They call them the Court, an elite boys club who rule Windsor Preparatory Academy like gods among men. And, of course, they're led by Hercules himself.
Royal Prinze - yes, that's actually his name - walks around both the school and the town like he owns them. His affiliation to the prestigious Court only gives him more clout. These boys do anything they want. They take anything they want, and they f--k anything they want...in that order.
Then there's me.
I came to Maywood Heights to live with my virtually indifferent father because my sister went AWOL. She chose to stay with him after our parents' divorce when we were kids, and I haven't seen or heard from her since summer began. The last thing I imagined when enrolling at her school was that she'd be connected to a group like the Court and boys like Royal. She's nothing like them and so much better than Royal and his elitist attitude.
So, why then are they saying he's her best friend?
Warning: This enemies-to-lovers high-school romance contains some dark themes and light bullying. The book is not a stand-alone and is book one in a four-part series of full-length novels. Royal Prinze is the only hero of this tale...good luck getting him to share.

I can’t wait for book 2
After reading the later series of these books by Eden O’Neil (Court University) I was excited to read the start of the series. After finding out book one would be on audible it seemed perfect. Now I could get all of Decembers story whilst driving/ using my Alexa. This is my second Kasi Hollowell narrated book and I think she’s brilliant. She bought this story to life brilliantly. I can’t wait for book two, Illusions that may.
Definitely recommend to anyone who loves a darker romance.

High school bully enemies to lovers romance series
Enemies to lovers high school romance, the audiobook narrated by Kasi Hollowell, it hooked me right away, definitely will want to hear the rest of the series, the narration was spot on and the editing was good, volume was standard and good. The story had me intrigued since the beginning, I do need more after the ending, so looking forward to book 2, December is a character you will love, such an amazing character. The lies, mysteries, angst, and overall bully made me love this story.

They the Pretty Stars
Wow. What a great story! You have your high school romance with the twist of a sister who ran away and moving in hopes of finding her and bringing her home. So many deep characters with secrets that keep you guessing as to what is going on. I absolutely can’t wait for the next in this series to come out!

Amazing
December moves to Maywood Heights to try and find her Sister she joins Windsor Prep Academy where she finds it is run by an elite boys club .
The Court is run by Royal Prinze he acts like he owns the school and the town but December takes crap from no one but she finds out Royal was her sisters best friend.
Loved the mystery aspect of this book and it got my mind on overdrive where her sister might be or what happened to her .
Looking forward to book 2 Eden O’Neil and Kasi Hollowell are both new to me and I hope to be listening to more from them in the future.

All the pretty stars.
I received this book via a #Audiobook Obsession promo code and this is my voluntary review.
Welcome to Windsor Preparatory Academy, book 1.
December's older sister, Paige has gone AWOL, so to lure her out, she moves from LA (where she has been living with her Aunt) to Maywood Heights with her father. She enrolls at WPA and it's here she runs into The Court, an elite group of boys who run the school, led by Royal Prinze. December wants answers about her sister, and soon her questions put her directly on the Courts radar. Being at the attention of Royal, is the last thing she wants as his group start trying to intimidate her, refusing to back down, December becomes fixated on Royal, who everyone says used to be her sisters best friend. Their interactions are fairly typical of the enemies-to-lovers high-school romance genre but what really stood out for me was the revelations of that cliff hanger ending, which in retrospect seems fairly obvious that no one assumed trouble was afoot from the beginning.
Narration was great, the story was just finding it's feet but here is hoping later books in the series are much more fleshed out.

Wow, wow, wow
Of my. This book is amazing! It has a solid storyline with great, likeable characters. The storyline has lots of intriguing twists that will have you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait for the next book. I’m hoping there’s not too much of a wait as I need it!! It’s written very well and Kasi gives a perfect performance. Great job done on the production by Pink Flamingo Productions.

Great story
It was a very compelling story. Very deep considering it's YA roots. I found it a bit difficult to get into it for the first couple chapters, but once I was in, I found it difficult to stop listening. Can't wait to get my hands on the next part in the series.

They the Pretty Stars
This is a very interesting book. It delivers in the storyline and plot, but I would have liked more romance. The narration was so good. Kasi is new to me! I will be looking for more of her work!

loved it!
young adult romances are usually packed with intense feelings.. 1st loves, loss, conflicts with parents, learning, building yourself into the person you will be for the rest of your life.. and this book is no exception. i loved the way it's written, i could imagine every scene in my head like i was watching a movie. the narrator was perfect for the role. she was a bit breathy, but it's probably just an editing issue. she was really brilliant and very expressive. i received a free copy of this audiobook.
