Sweet and Sexy SciFi romance
A great escapist listen. If you love romance with charming handsome men seducing strong beautiful women, then you will love this romance. When Alna bumps into Gared, he is entranced by her and knows that she is the wife for him. As is the custom of the Pruxnae, Gared ab Einif kidnaps Alna Lomig to be wooed and wed. He hides them in a biodome in the jungle of her home planet awaiting pick-up by his brother who has gone a raiding trip of his own. Dangers lurk in the forest. Hearts can be broken. Enjoy!

4/5
Thief of Hearts is a cute sci-fi romance about a Pruxnae who stole his Lady Warrior and in the process stole her heart as well. I liked how each of their promises were true but also carried a bit of dishonesty in the unspoken parts of them. However, Lucy Varna also reminds us that words spoken in anger or jest can hurt as well. I wanted more of Alna and Gared and their story. I really liked Gared but Alna was just okay. Thief of Hearts is a fun start of The Puxnae series.

I really liked this book, surprising poignant for this type of novel, the characters have great chemistry and excellent dialogue. The storyline is great and has a satisfying ending. The narrator has a voice that I could listen to for days.
