About this listen
Fourth book in the New York Times best-selling Indebted Series.
"She healed me. She broke me. I set her free. But we are in this together. We will end this together. The rules of this ancient game can't be broken."
Nila Weaver no longer recognizes herself. She's left her lover, her courage, and her promise. Two debts down. Too many to go.
Jethro Hawk no longer recognizes himself. He's embraced what he always ran from, and now faces punishment far greater than he feared.
It's almost time. It's demanding to be paid.
The third debt will be the ultimate test...

Excellent.
The fourth book and what a ride.
The first book I wasn't particularly keen, as I felt that, while the story had promise, it didn't really hit the mark for me. I had bought all of the books and audios in one go, as a good friend had recommended them, stating that they were really good. But I reserved full judgement until I read the next book.
I can honestly state that each book just gets better, and this one is rather excellent.
It portrays the Inheritance Debt in which Nila is taken by Jethro as a 29th birthday gift. It stated within the papers that the firstborn son, Jethro, is given the firstborn daughter, Nila, and Debts are to be taken and collected.
This is now the third debt and it's definitely the worst one yet. Not only for Nila, but also for Jethro.
I can't really say much as I don't want to give out any spoilers!!
However, you must be aware that this is the one where people might struggle with the most....so far that is. Personally, with the exception with a beheading due upon the Final Debt, I can't fathom just how much worse this can get for her.......
Well until Daniel that is!!
Along with the book is the audio.
Kylie C Stewart and Will M Watt narrating again.
These have also gotten better as they've gone along and in this one, you will definitely feel the pain and the determination throughout. It's haunting to hear and by the end, it will have you in tears. Both give an Oscar worthy performance together and I have to admit that this one is definitely worth its money and therefore.....
I wholeheartedly recommend both today....just make sure you've got the tissues out, as this one, you WILL need them!!

Wow
My heart went on a roller coaster. Love, sadness, fear and lust. It broke and healed, just to be broken again. I have never read anything like this before.

The data continues with a shocking end!
In this instalment we learn about Jethro's condition. The third debt, which is the most sexually brutal makes you wonder how Nila and Jethro will ever recover after this. The unadulterated raw passion they exhibited previously still remains.. fierce as ever. The family, in particular Cut and Daniel are sadistic, cruel monsters and at the end I can barely comprehend what they do or understand what that means for Nila.

don't waste your money
I started this book, and left it for over a year. decided I wanted something a little fun to listen to so thought I'd give it a go again.
if you've listened/read the others, this is so much worse. just don't bother, the story sucks, the s3x scenes are sparse and nyla is sooooooo whingey. urgh. anooyed!

Will this not just end already?!?
I'm bored now. The characters have somehow become more two-dimensional and even the ones I previously liked are now annoying me. How many more books are in this series? I don't intend to find out and am tapping out now.
