Alan Watts discusses the word tathata, which is translated from the Sanskrit as "suchness" or "thusness." The term is used in Mahayana Buddhism to suggest how things look to a Buddha, to one who has experienced enlightenment or liberation and is, therefore, called a Tathagata - one who comes (and goes) thus. Watts shares the sense of this nonsense in Buddhist philosophy, and its practical demonstration in Zen.

Horrible editing, background noices, damaged

Better listen need to fix their audio files, this is the second when a damaged record, background voices ruin the whole experience. Otherwise Alan watts performance and stories are always good, cannot listen more than 10 minutes from this edition.

Love AW but terrible recording

Save yourself the credit, the audio recording and coughing with long pauses is terrible , could have been so much better
