A good research material

This book offers great information about Berkeley's Refutation of Foundationalism and Intentionalism and Foundationalism. With this guide, I have learned lots of things that I do not before. Worth the listen.

Fantastic

An interesting audiobook to listen to! J.-M. Kuczynski is a former philosophy professor (Ph.D. UCSB, 2006) turned entrepreneur-consultant. He used his expertise in mathematical modeling and cognitive science to provide individual and institutional clients with rigorous econometric and psychometric analysis. Listening to this book helped me to think in logical terms.

Two Contributions to an Anti-Foundationalist Theory of Knowledge offers a clear, unbiased, and thorough introduction to the fundamental problems and theories of knowledge. J.-M. Kuczynski does an excellent job of precisely defining any technical terms he uses and also of fairly presenting the alternative approaches to each problem. He also points out what philosophers and books to seek out for further study.

The narration and performance matched the content which helped me retain the information. In other words, it was a serious delivery. An extremely comprehensive collection of logical rules with good explanations. Highly recommend. I've cited this work many times when writing.

Definitely enjoyed it and looking forward to reading more by this author.

Great arguments between Sellars and Berkeley

Great arguments between Sellars and Berkeley on antifoundationalism. The most notable product of the foundationalist and anti-foundationalist exchange has undoubtedly been a process in which we have seen the proliferation of self-reflection, theoretical pluralism and tolerance, and convergent views of roles and themes within the social sciences. At the same time, there is reason to be concerned that the anti-foundational movement undermines the very stability “of the foundations on which it began to build its institution.

Absolutely endearing and very logical

Absolutely endearing and very logical. It is important to understand that Berkeley does not actually reject the possibility of the external world/ physical objects. What he does is mentioning the matter of importance.

Excellent, easy to listen to, and informative

Excellent, easy to listen to, and informative. The anti-foundationalists' emphasis on meanings, contingency, historical narratives, and critique opens up the study of British politics. Anti-foundationalists have initiated dialogues between British politics and historiography, cultural studies, and postcolonial studies.

It is very in depth and interesting

It is very in-depth and interesting. Gained info on what intentionalism and foundationalism are. Antifoundationalism is the position of many philosophers. An antifoundationalist believes that life is defined by personal experiences. Therefore a person's view of life is an "ongoing self-corrective process" in which "knowledge changes with time." Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying it!

Unique book

This book provides a historical narrative of the contingent ways in which anti-foundationalism has been brought to the study of British politics from within critical, socialist traditions. It starts by briefly mentioning some of the less contentious implications for social philosophy. It also explains why anti-foundational philosophy is compatible with diverse approaches to political science and considers the implications of the analysis of anti-foundationalism for its place in the study of British politics.

A must-have for any and all serious thinkers

A short-listen to book but definitely a must-have for any and all serious thinkers. An excellent exercise in critical thinking even for those of us that are devoted to Christ in the most dogmatic fashion.
