About this listen

A hillbilly and a former Marine walk into a bar sounds like the opening line of a joke. But it's no laughing matter for Tyler Warboys when werewolf alphas Rocky and Blaze Blackstone enter the Byte Bar, the computer repair store where he works.

Tyler is instantly attracted to the huge, powerful, but allegedly dangerous creatures. And, miracle of miracles, they feel a connection to him, too. But how can that be? Tyler is human and Rocky and Blaze are not. However, the alphas can smell a faint something on Tyler that has them wondering if he isn't as human as he's always thought. But as Tyler has never shifted, how can he be a werewolf?

So many questions, but between the three of them, they are bound to find some answers. Surely three isn't always a crowd, especially where love is concerned?

Loved the faded to black main event!

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted the AUDIO version of this book.

I have to say, for such a short book, 2hours and 5 minutes(73 pages), it packs quite a punch!

Tyler knows about werewolves, his fav soap is based around them, but he also knows that there is more to them than the soap portrays. When not one, but TWO alphas start to pay him some attention, he gets all flustered but one touch and his busy mind stills. That Tyler is a human is not what the alphas think, either!

I really only have one niggle, and it really is my being greedy, but I know short books come with some restrictions. Only Tyler has a say, in the third person. I would have loved to hear from Blaze and Rocky, I really would.

But the best bit?? The best bit for me was, that although this has steamy and smexy times between all three of them, the main event is absolutely faded to black! Yes, I know I like my books on the smexy side, but I loved that we don't get down and dirty with the guys, just the assuming aftermath!

Chad White narrates. I've not listened to him before, and I really enjoyed the voices he does for all three men. Blaze is super Alpha male, and Rocky, is kinda simple sounding but really isn't and Tyler fits right between the two. I loved all the voices, really and White's reading voice is deep and even and I had no trouble keeping up.

I'd like to listen to more read by White, but also, I'd like to read more of Hunt. My first of his, and I'd like to read something a bit longer, with a more indepth story.

4 stars for the book
4 stars for the narration
4 stars overall.

Steamy!

This was a hot story. It’s the first book I’ve read by this author and the first I’ve listened to by this narrator. It’s a very quick story to listen to and it’s very steamy. It’s the only audiobook I can find on Audible narrated by Chad White and I think he did a good job.

Short but sweet

Tyler is such a nice guy; a selfless computer geek who helps out his customers. Rocky and Blaze are hot alpha werewolves who, despite being together, are looking for their true mate. Tyler is that missing link in their relationship.

Told from Tyler’s POV, this fast-moving MMM story is short and sweet, yet hot and amusing at the same time. Very enjoyable too.

Chad White narrated the story well, giving voice to each main character.
