About this listen
He's prince charming. Just not hers.
I have a secret.
I stole a heart, or rather a marriage contract.
It wasn’t mine to own, to look at, or to even consider.
But it was there for the taking, so I took it.
Huge mistake.
Ronan Astor is a nobility in this world.
Arrogant player.
Heartless bastard.
Vicious prince.
Now, he’s out to destroy me.
What he doesn’t know is that I’m out to destroy him, too.
My name is Teal Van Doren, and I’m where princes go to die.
Vicious Prince is part of Royal Elite series but could be listened to on its own. For better understanding of the world, you might want to listen to the previous books first. This is a mature new-adult work and contains situations that some listeners might find offensive or triggering.

Unexpected and brilliant
This story really surprised me, it totally wasn't what I expected it to be from what I had learned about the characters from the previous books. So much hidden away, so much pain and brokenness. It tore at my heart but I had to know what was going to happen and how it was going to resolve. It kept me right there with them all the way through. Shane East and Keira Stevens did another fantastic job with the narration, they bring the story to life so beautifully.

Dark Bully Romance
Vicious Prince by Rina Kent is a dark high school bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Shane East and Keira Stevens. This is the fifth book in the Royal Elite Series.
This book does come with a warning “This is a mature new-adult work and contains situations that some listeners might find offensive or triggering.”
I absolutely love this series! Rina is an amazing writer! She pulls me into the story and makes me fall in love with the characters. I loved the relationship between Teal and Ronan. I think they may be my favorite couple so far. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Ruthless Empire to be released on September 10, 2020 so I can get Cole and Silver’s story.
Shane and Keira did an amazing job on the narration! I absolutely love duet narration it just brings the story to life.
I would highly recommend this book if you love dark romance or bully romance.

Ronan and Teal!
Ronan is the member of the group who always has a smile on his face, a joke to lighten the mood and his reputation with the ladies is legendary but appearances can be deceiving. His father wants to see him married and has brokered a deal with Elsa’s father however Ronan is not above some bullying to ensure that she declines the engagement but he is about to find out she is much stronger than she appears.
Teal has endured a childhood that no one should have to, and it has shaped her into the woman she is today. She doesn’t like to be touched and she knows that she doesn’t fit in with her peers, but she doesn’t care what others think about her. She has her own reasons for agreeing to the engagement and there is nothing that Ronan could do or say to change her mind.
They both have secrets and as they spend time together no one is more surprised than they are when their initial plan to hurt each other now has them wanting to protect each other but is it too late?
The characters draw you in, the chemistry is intense and the story has some surprises you don’t see coming as these two damaged people help each other heal from their pasts. I listened to an audio copy of the book and the narrators were the perfect choice for the characters.

Dark & Gritty!
Dark, gritty, and passionate, Rina Kent has written the story of Ronan and Teal. These two are arranged to be married, and don’t realize how fate has stepped into their lives. These two are broken, have agendas and together find a way to heal. The story is absolutely amazing. Kent has encompassed so much in their story. The two have so much in common yet are completely different. She has them dealing with relevant issues, dysfunctional families and finding love in the most unexpected places. Teal is a complex woman. There are so many layers to her, it takes a while for us to get to know her. Ronan is intuitive, and the depth of his brokenness had me falling for him early on. The two have undeniable chemistry, and they had my heart invested in them finding their happily ever after.
Shane East and Keira Stevens narrate this story with an achingly, emotional performance. The two bring Teal and Ronan to life and let us feel every emotion. From frustration, to fear, to excitement to love, we feel every tug to our hearts. It’s an amazing narration.

Every book gets more intense
Just when I think I've read the best Rina Kent book to date, this one falls into my lap. I've been waiting for Ronan's story since reading Deviant King and to say I'm blown away is an understatement. The push and pull, the angst, the twists, the steam. It's all there. I don't know how she's going to top this with Cole's story, but I'll be ready to have my sky high expectations blown out the water. Once again Shane East and Kiera Stevens bring the angst to life in this duel narration story.
I received an advance copy of this to review from Wildfire marketing on behalf of the author. My review is unbiased and all opinions herein are my own.

Viscous Prince
What an emotional ride! I felt absolutely everything these characters did and I have to tell you, I may have a book hangover after this one. The writing flows perfectly and the narrators were the perfect choice.

What a school!
Wow, this school is a tough school to be at! This is book 5 in the series and while I did read the first book in the series, I wish I read this series in order. There's a lot happening in this book and a bit builds on the prior books in the series (I'm reading/listening to book 2 right now!).
This book follows another of the 4 Horsemen (Ronan) and Teal, who is his fiancé. Ronan starts by trying to get her to stop the engagement. (Arranged marriage, as per the title). She refuses to because of a past issue (which isn't really revealed to the readers until the end although I sort of guessed what happened.) I loved Ronan in books 1 and 2 (and I think I'll like him across the series because I liked him in this book too.). He's fun and adorable but with a very very deeply hidden pain that Teal eventually helps heal. She also is quite hurt and them too together actually are really great together. There are ups and downs, of course, a fair amount of angst and pain but overall, this book was interesting and I was totally invested in the world.
The same narrators, Shane East and Keira Stevens, narrate across the series. They are amazing. Both brought emotion into the story (and have, consistently, through books 1 and 2 as well). I have LOVED their narration, which truly immersed me into the story and this twisted world.

my least favourite of the series
Although I loved Ronan's character and his depth, this story has a loooot of TWs which made me question whether I should keep listening to it or not. The story was very good and the characters bonded over their trauma however, just to raise a bit more awareness that this book is harder to listen to in comparison to the others in my opinion. Great narrators and loved the emotions they put into their performance!
