Absolutely love this series & it’s so great being able to listen to it anywhere!
I love Adrian & skylar & the way their relationship rides the waves of their pasts, trust, family & love. Their chemistry is hot as hell & I want my own Adrian!! The scorch is 🔥👌
Maggie’s books take you right inside them & you don’t want to leave! & the audio books bring that to another level of excitement!
Would highly recommend & definitely a five star ⭐️

Fantastic Story Telling 💙💙
Tim Paige & Kelsey Navarro performances was brilliant especially when it came to them heart wrenching moments. When Adrian talks about the lost of his son and telling "Skylar I love you come home". Kesley did a brilliant job on Skylatlr determination on what's going on with the brothers and what's the secret. Another great performance but their Russian accent is slightly off but that does not ruin the story telling at all. Well done Tim & Kelsey on this brilliant job from romantic moments to heart wrenching moments

Skylar did learn the hard but she has a demon by her side called Adrian🔥
Skylar & Adrian love story is EPIC. Both characters start to learn more about each other and they did this during in "Cruel Enforcer" when we got hints of them together whispering. Now we have the answers...
Skylar is the creative & kind hearted with pink hair. She is talented fashion designer but her boss is a DICK! I wanted her to succeed to create her own label cause she deserves!
Adrian is cousins to Inanov Brothers. His blood brother Obrecht and their lovable & hilarious Svetlana. I love how Skylar asks Adrian to teach her Russian to show respect for their culture. Adrian is such a complicated character and my heart broke for him when we learned about the true meaning of the lion tattoo on his chest.
Skylar is the perfect person to show him that she is the real deal, her heart will not change when he tells her the truth. When he finally got the courage to tell her the truth (the truth that Aspen & Kora knows) but it didn't go to plan...no spoliers.
Yes I am emotionally invested in these characters and, all I want to do is cheer them !! I hope we get more Svetlana her lovable mother vibe just jump of the page.
THERE is a twist of betray in this book, while I say betrayal I mean set up Adrian & his family from the past events. Trust me I DID NOT see this coming and it broke my heart for Adrian's family. NO SPOLIERS

This series gets better and better.
I do love a strong Alpha. These characters are giving so much of themselves it’s brilliant. I can’t wait for the next book. An absolutely fantastic performance from both narrators, especially Kelsey.

All the heat with a Russian accent!
I loved reading this book, so being able to listen to it being brought to life by Tim and Kelsey takes it to a whole new level! The heavy Russian accent certainly Helps! The spice in this series just keeps getting more intense! I can't wait to get my hands on the next one!

Dark Mafia Romance
Vicious Protector by Maggie Cole is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige. This is the fourth book in the Mafia Wars series. The book can be read as a standalone but the stories are interconnected.
I absolutely love Maggie's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I loved the relationship between Skylar and Adrian. The chemistry between them was off the charts. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Savage Tracker to be released on August 1, 2021 so I can get Obrecht and Selena's story.
Kelsey and Tim did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you love mafia romances, dark romances, or romantic suspense.

Fantastic listen!
There is something about this series that has me addicted! Falling in love with the bad guy is so easy, and Adrian Ivanov is the man to fall for! Skylar is Aspen's best friend whom we have met previously. Adrian is the bodyguard is watching out for the girls, but the attraction between Skylar and Adrian is undeniable. Like an over protective, sensual man is, Skylar has little hope in not falling for the him. But she knows there is so much more to him. The secrets he keeps from her make her feel unworthy, and not trusted. She can't build a relationship on that. Or can she? These women that fall for the men in this series are strong and capable of loving them. But will Skylar be one of them? Suspense, steamy and unexpected twists and turns keep this story moving. Throwing in Adrian's ex-wife just adds that extra excitement to the mix. What a wild card! It's a fabulous addition to the series and while it does stand alone, it's best read in order. The stories have the intertwining of characters and it adds more depth to our read/listen. Definitely a must listen!
Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige brings this couple to life. Navarro is a favorite, and she voices Skylar with the grit and passion she feels. I could sense all the emotional turmoil of her decisions with the nuances Navarro uses. Paige comes in with the Russian accent as Adrian, alpha and strong. He creates a mystery around the man, yet lets you feel his dangerous side and steamy sensuality. This is a fantastic team and a wonderful listen.

Great Dark Mafia Romance Series!
This is the fourth book in the Mafia Wars Series, a Dark Mafia Romance. I like this Series of interconnected stories, and intertwined characters. I recommend to listen to this Series in order. Adrian and Skylar are great characters. Adrian is handsome, enigmatic, and caring. Skylar is strong, smart, and independent. She is Aspen’s best friend, from Ruthless Stranger, the first book in the Series. I loved to see again the characters from the first books. Their story is suspenseful, and filled with twists and turns. Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to Savage Tracker, the next book in the Series.
