Fun thriller
Any additional comments?
Solid thriller with entertaining twists and turns. I wanted to do a shout out for the narrator who does a fine job. Other reviewers not happy about how young his voice sounds, but he's a good narrator and tells the story well; one of the better narrators actually as others have no inflection or do too much over-the-top acting, or ridiculous/ high pitched women's voices and silly/ incomprehensible accents; solid performance for a solid story!

Story doesn't suit a younger voice
Daniel Parker may be Robert's son, but his voice is not suited to this. Although he does read well, there are no 'character's' created and it spoils it for me.

Disappointing narration
I adore these books when well read - Joe Mantegna does a fantastic reading of them. But this version disappointed me. Daniel Parker sounded too young and his voice was too light for Spenser, who is a big man. He didn't really distinguish between the different speakers, and got the emphasis and rhythm wrong so often I thought he must have been reading it for the first time and just happened to be doing it aloud.
