Summary

Jackson Young brings the woman he wants to marry home to Kentucky to meet his parents, but Helen doesn’t act like the same woman away from Boston. He’s stunned by her selfish, snobbish attitude and shrewish behavior.

As he reacquaints with people he hasn’t seen in five years, he notices Wylene Ward and remembers the time he rescued her from a group of bullies when they were in school. She’s turned into an attractive, caring woman who bakes the best walnut cake in the world. Suddenly, Jackson finds himself courting one woman, but thinking about another. How can he remedy the situation and find his place as a new lawyer? Will it be in Boston as he’d originally thought, or in Green Knoll, Kentucky, the place that still feels like home?

Jackson’s Epiphany…

When Jackson brings the woman he is courting Helen, From Boston to Nob Hill Kentucky to meet his parents. He is unprepared for the person that arrives with him. She is nothing like the sweet GenTeal woman he met in Boston. As a matter of a fact she is quite the opposite. He is dismayed and being home Helen it’s opposed two and belittles everything Jackson loves about knob Hill. This causes him to rethink everything, including asking her to marry him. When he meets Wylean and start helping her with the Christmas play, he is no longer confused and now knows what he hast to do. I love the Country Kitchen series and I was so happy to see Janice call Hopkins Head written a book for the collection. I lov, love, lob her books and read it in one sitting. It is a great historical romance book with God‘s word and love written into the pages. Jackson and why lanes Romance it’s worth reading. I highly recommend this book if you love historical romance you’ll definitely definitely love this book. I certainly did. Please forgive any grammatical errors as I am blind and dictate my reviews.

Sweet Historical Romance

I'm just loving this series! And I'm so happy to see Janice added to the authors in this series!
Another wonderful story by Janice! I loved his care of her mother most of all! He truly is a knight in shining armor!
The narrator might not be the best, but I loved his voice! He could work on the female voices some, but his narrator voice is perfect for cowboy/westerns! Rugged, and kind of sexy. Lol!

Another sweet rivetting love triangle story

I live there types of stories where the main character wages a battle within themselves, a battle between their desires and faithful conscience. This is an extraordinary story that brings about such a dilemma and makes the listener finish the book in one sitting. Thanks a lot.
