About this listen

Slay monsters. Bed goddesses. Level up.

Or die trying.

Sam Ryder's life already sucks, and it's about to get worse when he's fired from his dead-end job as a programmer. He's about to head home to escape into his favorite RPG, Alien Civilization, when he's offered a thrill ride on a death machine (AKA motorcycle) by a gorgeous woman straight out of one of his games.

Before Sam can say "WTF?", he's been whisked away to a dark world of monsters and goddesses, his body transformed from Outcast to Warrior, the second level on a ladder that may eventually carry him all the way to Demigod.

Trapped in this horrifying world, Sam must find a way to reignite the dwindling army of Warriors before the legions of monsters breach the ward shields that have protected the three goddesses for centuries. His best chance is to reach the next level: Protector.

Note: Contains monster slaying, cursing, heavy violence, and a bunch of exotic goddesses and alien women. Mature listeners only.

Luckily, it didn't cost a credit

The narrator made a decent effort to make this book palatable. However, the storyline is mediocre with wasted potential.
The whole book feels like it was written by a horny teenager.
If I had a credit every time when something moved under his loin cloth, I would be set for a good while with audio books.

Monster slayer

A very interesting start to the story and a fantastic build up to the events of the off world that the protagonist has been taken to, would like to continue the follow ups

Salacious content spoilt it

Salacious content spoilt it. Not that I’m a prude but teenage fantasies enhanced anatomise added every few paragraphs was unnecessary narrator was good considering the material he had to work with, but this was just a male fantasy computer game as an audio book.

Dear god no.

Wish fulfillment can be really fun, but this is trying to hard.
Don't do it to yourself.

No No No

This book is so bad I want my money and time back form it. I was hoping the book would get better but oh my god I feel sorry for the narrator such a good job on such a terrible book. With a world with God's monsters and fighting and it's just so dull. this one's not for me
