Der stattliche Herr Günter soll bei diesem Spiel ein Drache sein, der den Salatschatz bewacht. Monika muss das Pferd darstellen, aber natürlich ist sie ein sehr langsamer Gaul. Deshalb freuen sich alle, als im Garten das lustige Pferd Apfelmus auftaucht, das ständig Witze erzählt. Leider möchte es beim Spiel eine andere Rolle bekommen, ein Pferd ist es ja schließlich immer. Aber wie soll ein Ritter ohne Pferd den Salatschatz vor dem Gänsedrachen retten?
