Good, Sound advice

This is a really good book with sound advice, what makes it different is the focus on your motivation. This is the key to your success, there are no diet fads, wonder work outs or promises of instant success with minimal effort. There is good advice on goal setting, making small incremental gains over a long period giving you a large gain in fitness. There are several tips that are simple to implement yet tend to get overlooked by traditional guides and trainers. Another key message is about changing your lifestyle, again, small incremental changes over a period that will have huge benefits in the longer term, this also relies on you wanting to make the changes and having the right mindset to organise and motivate yourself.
The final key message is about self-belief. James gives several examples of people telling him that he wasn’t capable of achieving his dreams or goals, he proved the nay-savers wrong by his own self-belief, motivation, organisation, persistence, perseverance and dedication, a truly inspiring story, well done Jim!
I also liked the narrator, good pronunciation, good tone and delivered at the correct speed.
There is one error in the book, nothing to do with fitness, it was Thomas Edison that set General Electric up not Einstein, it doesn't detract from the key messages, having said that if you are serious about achieving your goals, not just in health and fitness but in all area's of your life read this book, set your goals, believe in yourself and make it happen,

BRILLIANT!

Another brilliant book by James Atkinson. I put on 21 pounds with the COVID-19 lockdown. Thanks to James's audiobook, I've lost all the body fat and feel better than ever !

This book is simply one of the best books on weight loss and motivation out there!

Some very good points in this book, great tips and if you take some of the advice a great starter on your weight loss journey.

Definitely worth a read

This book has helped me massively, I’m 2 months into my diet and fitness journey and already lost a stone. My goal is to loose 2 stone and still enjoying my journey! Thanks Jim
