Summary

Eden's ready for a new start, putting the past behind her. But others have their own ideas of what's best for her....

The all-absorbing, life-affirming new novel from the best-selling author of Three Weddings and a Proposal and The Missing Wife.

Five years after the death of her firefighter husband, Eden knows better than anyone that life can change in an instant. Now, instead of the future she had planned with Andy, she has Lila—the daughter he never got the chance to meet. And instead of Andy, she has his family.

Then Eden meets someone. Someone she knew before Andy, before Lila, before the tragedy. Someone who reminds her of how she used to be. But Andy's mother has other plans. And Eden is facing an impossible choice. One that could tear a family apart....

Honest and emotionally gripping, What Eden Did Next is an irresistible, sometimes heart-breaking, ultimately joyful novel of love, loss—and finding your own way to happiness.

Oh I loved this book!

I personally enjoyed every chapter of this book.
It kept me on my toes till the end. Yes I shed a few tears but I leant a few things from it as well. I fully recommend thus book.
Make sure you have time because you will not be able to put it down!

Really a bit too cheesy

I have read other much better books than this by the author. This was really much too obvious, 2 dimensional and sickly sweet predictable.
Sorry I wanted to enjoy it but it just didn’t hit any kind of real spot for me !

Nice Easy Listen

I enjoyed the story although it was quite predictable. However Aoife mcMahons performance saved it. she is brilliant.

Very disappointing from this author

Main character is too good to be true, I found this book hard going through tedium

Disappointing

I always enjoy Shelia O’Flanagan’s book but this was so disappointing, especially after the last two. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen but nothing did. A low key story. The main character was pretty insipid , I found it difficult to empathise.
Narration was excellent.
