OK but....
I was really looking forward to this next publication and whilst it was an interesting plot line, it didn't grasp me as much as How to kill your family. Not as twisty as her others but still worth the purchase. I did struggle a bit with the Gabrielle's unusual intonation and speech style but got used to it.

A modern twist on a classic whodunnit
Give it a go if you like crime novels but also enjoy things being mixed up a little. The interesting way the story is told from three perspectives does that. If you haven’t already also read/listen to ‘
‘How to kill your family’.

Mackie does dry wit impeccably
Really enjoyed reading this and Bella Mackie has done an excellent job on writing characters that you love to hate, as well as making you think about how weird being obsessed with true crime actually is, definitely recommend and can’t wait for her next book.

A Clever Story - worth reading
It took me some time to understand each of the characters (beyond she was the wife he was the husband) and get comfortable with some of the narration, but the story is very clever and different to anything I’ve listen too for a while- definitely recommended

Well written characters & performed to perfection
Another unique story from the mind of Bella Mackie who is now an automatic buy for me. This isn’t as pacy as how to kill your family but the characters are well written and I liked the ending. Could’ve had a bit more action but still worth reading
