About this listen
The phenomenal Katharine Ashe flings open the portals of the mysterious Falcon Club - the intriguing Regency address that has every gossip in London asking, "What use has society of an exclusive gentleman's club if no gentlemen are ever seen to pass through its door?"
The first book in Ashe's captivating historical romance series, When a Scot Loves a Lady finds its dashing hero Lord Blackwood, an agent of the ultra-secretive Falcon Club, ready to return to his home in Scotland - but not without the scandalous lady who has captured his heart while bringing unanticipated danger into his life.

Really interesting storyline, not quite in the usual mold.
I note that other reviewers did not like the narration and while this is not by any means my favorite narrator, with some rather annoying pronunciations and a breathy delivery, I actually think she does a good job of making different characters sound different. The story is interesting enough to persevere in my opinion. A good plot with twists and turns and an unexpected development near the end. On the whole recommended though if the narrator is not to your taste try a sample first.

narrator
Well! what can I say? I can see why it is free. the narrator is terrible. I braved it out until the end of chapter 2 and couldn't go on. from what I can tell the story could be good and sounded as if it could be intriguing but she, well is just awful. listen to it,as its free and see if you agree.

Boring narration
Readers voice made it difficult to enjoy or get to grips with the story. Abandoned the book within first few chapters. Unable to follow the characters so not able to enjoy the story. So I have not rated itWould like a refund of my credit
