About this listen
Where I Am is a standalone new adult romance.
Astoria
He was the man of my dreams, or so I thought. I wasn't sure how I'd react when I saw him again. I planned on avoiding him, but our small hometown made that impossible. The years apart melted away when I saw him. Time hadn't changed my feelings, after all. Jealousy flared anew. My heart, which I thought had healed, was back to being in a million pieces.
Now I'm right where I don't want to be - in front of him with tears in my eyes.
Parker
Everything isn't always as it seems. One moment could cause a ripple effect with unexpected consequences that last for years. Not a day had gone by that I didn't think of her. When our paths crossed again, I knew I had to tell her the truth. Arguing was inevitable, but I'd rather fight for her than face another day without her. My heart always belonged to her.
Where I am is standing in front of her - asking for another chance.

Fantastic Ending to a duet!!
Book 2 in the Arrow Falls series (DO NOT READ THIS AS A STAND-ALONE) continues to follow our hero and heroine as they come to terms with what happened all those years ago and who this other woman truly is to the hero. It’s heart wrenching to hear all of the ways these characters love each other no matter what they might believe the other did. Highly recommend this series!!

Exciting!
Overall, I enjoyed the story. In regards to the story, it was a little aggravating that Astoria wouldn’t let Parker explain- they were together but she thought that he cheated on her. In fact, he was protecting his brother’s ex. The story was so contrived because she kept refusing to speak with him. I guess we can chalk it up to her young age but I didn't think it was an adequate response.
Once she lets him tell her, she finally realizes how badly she acted and the story became really good. It was really exciting as Parker's brother was let out of jail and wanted to pick up where he left on on his abusive behavior. I loved seeing Cy and Eve from the first book again and there were some really exciting, harrowing moments.
The audiobook is good too. I loved the duet style of narration so it sounds like a play. Tor Thom was great- a really nice smooth voice and he even differentiated pretty well between multiple male voices. Charley Ongel, however, sounded a bit too breathy. Overall, though, both did a good job.

Where I Am
Where I Am is Astoria and Parker's story. I didn't like Astoria at all in the beginning because she jumped to conclusions when there was a misunderstanding instead of talking to Parker and letting him tell her his side before making assumptions and just running away. After she came back, though, and things got resolved, she was likable and the story was interesting. There was suspense, amazing chemistry and hot sex. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did a good job bringing this story to life.

Great book
The emotion in this book is fantastic. I was laughing, crying and shouting at the characters i was so engrossed in the storyline. Michelle writes so well I feel the characters and the way they deal with issues. Tor’s voice had me hooked from the beginning.

Great narration
I am really enjoying Michelle Dare's writing, and this book did not disappoint. I loved book 1 and book 2 was just as good. The narration was done really well, and the characters were awesome.
